The case of a Santa Rosa man accused of killing his stepbrother is ending in a mistrial. On Tuesday, a jury acquitted 31-year-old Jude Ian Kellner of first-degree murder, but was deadlocked on the second-degree-murder charge, leading to a mistrial. The victim, 30-year-old James Bauer, was found dead from a gunshot wound in Camp Meeker in February of 2021. Jury deliberations lasted about two days.
