Two Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies will not face criminal charges after shooting and injuring a man in downtown Sonoma. The Sonoma County District Attorney’s Office cleared the deputies of wrongdoing this week. The deputies fired back at a man who fired at them with a homemade gun last year on October 15th. The D.A.’s report says the deputies’ use of force was objectively reasonable and lawful.
