Illegal fireworks are to blame for a one-acre grass fire next to a business parking lot in Downtown Windsor. The fire burned an empty lot shortly before 8 o’clock Tuesday night. On Wednesday, investigators said someone was lighting fireworks that misfired into the dry grass. Nobody was hurt or had to evacuate. Windsor police are now searching for the person or people who started the fire.
