Former Vice-President Mike Pence was in Napa yesterday speaking a the Napa Institute Summer Conference. Pence’s speech mainly focused on conservative Catholic efforts to ban abortions. He touted his efforts with the appointment of conservative judges to federal court positions and the Supreme Court and also said the fight to end abortion is not over. He also stated “God is not done with America yet ….. And the best days of this great nation are yet to come.” Meanwhile, a small religious group tried to protest Pence’s speech outside the conference but they were sidelined because Bordeaux Way, the main artery to the Meritage Resort and Spa where the conference was held was blocked off.
