A man and his two dogs are dead after crashing a car into Yorty Creek near Cloverdale. The man drove into the inlet at Lake Sonoma Yorty Creek Recreation area at about 4:30 Thursday afternoon. The area is about four miles west of Cloverdale. A witness performed CPR on the driver, but it was not successful. The cause of the crash is not known.
