A 51-year-old bicyclist from Santa Rosa died after getting hit by a truck in Rohnert Park. The collision happened Friday afternoon at the 5700 block of Commerce Boulevard. A blue Ram truck was exiting the parking lot onto the northbound lane of Commerce Boulevard. The bicyclist was traveling south on Commerce Boulevard on the east side of the road when they both collided. The cyclist ended up on the ground with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a local hospital but later declared dead. The name of the cyclist hasn’t been released. The truck driver remained at the scene and was cooperative with police.
