California is so-so when it comes to the best state to live in.
WalletHub came out with their list of the best states to live in for 2023 looking at several indicators including housing costs and income growth to the education rate and quality of hospitals. Overall, California was middle of the pack at 24th. The Golden State ranked 2nd in quality of life ranking only behind New York. However, we came in dead last for affordability.
If you’re wondering, Massachusetts ranked best overall while New Mexico came in last.
