Six towns in Sonoma and Napa Counties are being recognized by Country Living as some of the 40 most beautiful towns in California. The highest ranked was Sonoma at second overall. It was praised by Country Living for its “scenic vineyards, hiking trails, and a quaint downtown area” as well as its “many tasting rooms or world-class restaurants near the town’s plaza.” The other cities that made the list include Healdsburg, Guerneville, Bodega Bay, Calistoga, and St. Helena. The top spot in the state is Venice.
