Come have fun and help struggling veterans at the same time.
Nation’s Finest is hosting their “Game of Throws” Cornhole Tournament at the Windsor Town Green this Saturday from 11 AM to 4 PM. The tournament will help raise funds that will directly benefit the programs and services at Nation’s Finest-Santa Rosa to help Veterans and their families with housing, mental health and behavioral services, employment services, and more. One of those helped was Rob Holley, a Navy Veteran from Santa Rosa who now gives back by working at Nation’s Finest.
“I suffered homelessness for about two years and I reached out to Nation’s Finest and from the moment that I walked in, I was treated with dignity and respect,” said Holley. “They guided and navigated me through all the basic life skills…. anything that it took for me to get back and contributing to society.”
