Three people have been arrested for drugs and weapons charges in Santa Rosa. On Wednesday afternoon, an officer pulled over a car on Dutton Avenue near Barham Avenue for multiple vehicle code violations. The driver, Cruz Vasquez, had a suspended driver’s license while the passenger, Benjamin Mares, owned the vehicle. Police searched the car and found an ounce of meth, a digital scale, and packaging material. After arresting them, police searched Mares’ residence, contacting Stephanie Kailin and Lawerence Cassidy. In a car near the property, they found nearly 4 ounces of meth, a .357 revolver, and ammunition. Cassidy was arrested for the drugs and the weapons while Kailin was arrested for a felony warrant out of Placer County.
