No Injuries in Small Plane Landing in Windsor Vineyard

There are no injuries after a small plane made an emergency landing in a vineyard in Windsor. The pilot, who was the only person onboard, landed the plane in a row of grapevines on Saturday afternoon. The pilot spoke with the Press Democrat shortly after setting the plane down. William James Tomkovic of Healdsburg says he was trying to land at nearby Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport, but his engine cut out. Tomkovic was planning to land on the Windsor Golf Club Course, but ended up deciding the vineyard was safer.
