A new wrongful death lawsuit is going after Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit and the city of Petaluma. It was filed by a 16-year-old girl who lost her father in a motorcycle crash last year. The man crashed after hitting a raised median at SMART tracks in the middle of a street. The lawsuit claims the city and transit agency left a “dangerous condition of public property” in that area of roadway.
