Kaiser Permanente is walking back its reinstated mask mandate for its medical facilities in Santa Rosa. Beginning Tuesday, patients, visitors, physicians and staff were required to again cover their faces at all times. It was in response to a spike in patients testing positive for COVID-19 in the past three weeks. The policy was revised Thursday. Now, only physicians and staff have to wear masks. Masks are still strongly encouraged for patients and visitors.
