A loaded gun was found inside a sleeping bag of a trespasser in Santa Rosa. Yesterday afternoon, police were investigating a trespassing violation at 2027 Pioneer Lane. They found two people inside an unoccupied apartment. Officers searched one of the men’s sleeping bags and found a loaded firearm inside. The person who had the firearm, 37-year-old John Edward Allen Jr., has several felony convictions and is prohibited from possessing a firearm. He was arrested for trespassing, felon in possession of a gun, and possession of an unserialized firearm.
