A driver from Oakland has been arrested after a rollover crash in Petaluma. On Thursday night, an officer on patrol in the area of East Washington Street and Ely Boulevard South saw a vehicle that had been in a crash resting on its side. The officer couldn’t get the driver, later identified as Htein Win, out of the car. Win had to be removed by the jaws of life. While investigating, police found a lot of alcohol in the vehicle and noticed signs of intoxication coming from Win. After being treated at a hospital for moderate injuries, Win was arrested for DUI, driving with a suspended license for DUI, and violating felony probation. No other people were injured, and no other vehicles were involved. The vehicle destroyed several trees and a city sign.
