Two out of four suspects accused of threatening to shoot a middle school student in Santa Rosa are behind bars. On September 1st, several juveniles who were not students at Herbert Slater Middle School, showed up on campus and started a fight with a student. That led to a Shelter-In-Place order on campus. Then on September 5th, school staff alerted the police to a video featuring several people brandishing handguns and threatening a student. The second suspect, 20-year-old Ramiro Maldonado from Petaluma, was arrested Sunday afternoon without incident. The first suspect, a 14-year-old Montgomery High School student, was arrested last Tuesday. Police are increasing patrols around the school while the investigation continues.
