Crews are demolishing a picnic area at Santa Rosa’s Spring Lake Regional Park. It’s happening about two months after a tree limb fell at the Upper Shady Oaks Picnic Area. A picnic table was crushed, injuring six people who were sitting there. Among the injured were a woman who was taken to a trauma center, and a six-year-old boy. The picnic tables and barbecue will be removed and reinstalled in a different part of the park.
