About $1.3-million dollars was raised at this year’s Sonoma County Wine Auction this past weekend. This year’s take is down about half-a-million from the previous year. Funds benefit local nonprofit organizations targeting education, literacy, health, the environment, the arts and disaster relief. The highest unique selling lot was a Best of the Big Apple package. Donated by Benovia Winery, that lot raised $47-thousand dollars. The biggest group lot of the day, Fund-A-Need, raised $454-thousand dollars.
