People in west Sonoma County should expect to see smoke today. Firefighters will be conducting a prescribed burn near Cazadero from eight a.m. to five p.m. Cal Fire is planning to burn about 23 acres of vegetation in the Little Black Mountain Preserve. This will be the first controlled fire in the area since the Creighton Ridge fire of 1978. The burn could be rescheduled in the event of poor weather conditions or air quality.
