Healdsburg has put together a final draft of its Climate Mobilization Strategy, the city’s climate action initiative aimed at supporting state and regional greenhouse gas reduction goals. City staff will present the strategy to City Council for possible adoption during council’s October 16th meeting at City Hall. The 141-page document, prepared by Oakland-based Rincon Consultants, includes 18 measures and 93 actions, of which 62 are planned to be implemented in the next three years. The Climate Mobilization Strategy will be Healdsburg’s “roadmap” in its efforts to reach regional carbon neutrality by 2030, as well as helping the state to reach a similar goal by 2045.
