Sonoma County’s neighbor to the North is bringing back a COVID-related masking mandate. Starting November 24th, health care workers in Mendocino County must cover their faces in patient-care settings. County Health Officer Andrew Coren says the mandate is aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses during cold and flu season. It will be in effect through April 30th. Next year, the same masking rules will take effect on October 24th and again last through April 30th.
