A pedestrian is dead after a hit-and-run collision near Penngrove. The California Highway Patrol is still looking for the driver, who took off after the collision just after midnight Sunday. The victim, a man, was pronounced dead after getting hit in the northbound lane of Petaluma Hill Road, south of East Railroad Avenue. The CHP has yet to provide a vehicle description. Anyone with information on the incident should contact the CHP.
