A woman is facing charges on suspicion of throwing wine bottles at passing cars just north of Santa Rosa. Maria Carmona of Lassen County was arrested Saturday night, but details were not released until Monday. Police say Carmona reportedly stole two bottles of wine from a business in Larkfield-Wikiup, where she allegedly hurled them at cars. A child in one of the cars suffered minor injures after being hit by broken glass. Carmona, who has five outstanding warrants in other counties, is due in court today.
