Prescribed Burns Taking Place Around Cobb Through Thursday

There will be prescribed burns in the Cobb area of Lake County today. Cal Fire along with the Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance are conducting cultural burns in the area that will likely go through tomorrow, weather permitting. These will take place in the Cobb Area Water District and Avina Ranch. Ignitions could begin as soon as 8 AM each day with operations wrapping up by the late afternoon. There may be some residual smoke in the area for the next couple of days. If you see smoke around Cobb, please do not call 911.
