A 7-year-old girl from Sebastopol will be living out her skating dream for a good cause. Abigail Conner will skate in a solo routine this Saturday night at the Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer Celebration Ice Show at Snoopy’s Home Ice in Santa Rosa. Abigail ran a farm stand selling eggs, vegetables, baked goods, salsas, and jams and managed to raise over $3,300 dollars for cancer awareness. That made her the biggest local fundraiser for the Sk8 to Elimin8 event, allowing her to skate solo as a reward. You can get tickets to the event by clicking here. The net proceeds from this event support the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation’s national cancer research grant, as well as healthcare partners at Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
