Human Remains Found in Burning Vehicle in Covelo Called Suspicious

Human remains were found in a burning vehicle in Covelo. They were found last Tuesday morning on County Road 337L near the dump. Cal Fire put out the fire and investigators were called to the scene. The remains have not been identified but authorities are calling the death suspicious. Anyone with information should call the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.
