Last year’s crop report for Sonoma County was down slightly from 2021. The 2022 Sonoma County Crop report had a total value of $796-million, down from $811-million in 2021. The report showed that wine grapes and apples increased overall in value. However, livestock and poultry product values decreased 29 percent compared to 2021. Cannabis cultivation saw an 81.5 percent reduction in acreage and 80.5 percent decrease in production, which are attributed to reduced demand, permitting issues, and market forces.
