Veterans day background with text and USA flag
A grand tradition takes place tomorrow in Petaluma. The Petaluma Veterans Day Parade and Flyover begins with music in the gazebo at Walnut Park starting at noon. The parade will then kick off at 1 PM led by Grand Marshal and US Army Colonel Chris Kolenda, who led 800 troops in Afghanistan. Organizer of the parade, Joe Noriel, says 8 paratroopers that served with Kolenda will be following him. The parade, beginning and ending at Walnut Park, will also include horses, antique cars, military vehicles, and Ferraris. A short program will take place after the parade. This is the largest Veterans Day Parade north of the Golden Gate.
