APEC Starts Tuesday with Road Issues Expected in San Francisco

The work week is starting off with San Francisco drivers preparing for delays and detours. Major road closures begin tomorrow for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit, known as APEC. Security is at the highest level with 20-thousand people expected to attend, including President Biden and 20 other world leaders. Some are already here and were bouncing from event to event last night as the mayor offered a “Welcome to the APEC” business advisory council at City Hall. She says she’s been waiting for this moment for so long.
