A woman trying to evade police eventually ended up hiding in a laundry hamper in Sebastopol to no avail. Yesterday afternoon, a Santa Rosa police officer spotted a blue Chevrolet Cruise behind Raley’s on Fulton Road that was reported stolen. Officers tried to pull it over but the car sped off leading to a chase that ended in Sebastopol. The female driver, later identified as Nicole Medeiros, got out of the car and ran into a restaurant in the 6900 block of Sebastopol Avenue. Police then found her hiding in a large bin used for the business’ linens. Medeiros was wanted on a felony warrant for parolee at large. During the chase, Medeiros sideswiped three cars causing minor damage but no injuries.
