Skilled trade workers at 22 of the California State University campuses, including Sonoma State University, are holding what they call an unfair labor practices strike today. They say they’re greatly underpaid compared to University of California system employees who do the same type of work. The employees’ union has been negotiating a new contract with the CSU system for more than nine months. Their last labor contract expired on June 30th.
