Petaluma Police Chief Ken Savano has retired. Yesterday was his last day on the job. Officers escorted him into the police department one last time while dozens of people showed up to give their thanks. Chief Savano has been with the department since 1994 and has served as chief since 2016. Deputy Chief Brian Miller will serve as the interim chief as Petaluma looks nationwide for a replacement.
