About 15-million Californians are preparing for big health care changes. In six weeks, Medi-Cal will open up to the age group 26-to-49 and some older than 64. But many may lose coverage as the state finishes reviewing who no longer qualifies after the pandemic. Around a million low-income people in 21 counties will also be forced to switch to a new plan. Almost 40-percent of the population is enrolled to have the cost of doctor and dental visits covered.
