Santa Rosa Man Arrested for Pointing Guns at Henry-1

A Santa Rosa man has been arrested after pointing guns at the Sonoma Sheriff’s helicopter Henry-1. On Saturday night, police responded to the 500-block of Courtyard Circle where an intoxicated man was gathering firearms. Henry-1 responded to assist and flew above the residence. The suspect, 54-year-old Rodolfo Cervantes, pointed several guns at the helicopter and its crew but didn’t fire any shots. Cervantes went back inside the home and police decided to not escalate the situation and arrested him two days later on Santa Rosa Avenue. Police searched his home and seized three handguns, three rifles, one shotgun, and over 100 rounds of various ammunition. All of the firearms were legally possessed by Cervantes. He was arrested for pointing guns at Henry-1 and police officers.
