The average gas price in Sonoma County could fall below five dollars in about a week or less if the current trend continues. Today the average price of a gallon of regular gas is $5.08. That is one cent less than Sunday and ten cents less than last Monday. A month ago, it was more than $5.40 per gallon. The California average is $4.90.
