The National Weather Service is warning of sneaker waves on the North Bay’s beaches. From now until four a.m. tomorrow, the period between waves could be about 20 seconds. That’s five to ten seconds more frequent than normal for this time of year. It also means waters could suddenly rise on north-facing beaches. Forecasters also say there will be a break from the rain today. But, rain should return to the North Bay tomorrow night and continue through the rest of the week.
