Kid Arrested in Duncan Mills After Breaking Into Three Vacation Homes

Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a kid who broke into multiple homes in Duncan Mills thanks to the use of a drone. Yesterday evening, deputies went to investigate the break in of three vacation homes on Freezeout Road. Deputies spotted the juvenile suspect in one of the homes causing the suspect to flee. He was spotted again on the 21000 block of Moscow Road when the juvenile ran down to the river and entered the water, out of sight of pursuing deputies. After setting up a perimeter, deputies used a drone and its thermal camera to find the suspect in the brush near the river’s edge. He was then arrested without incident and charged with burglary, felony vandalism, obstructing and resisting a peace officer, and an outstanding juvenile arrest warrant.
