Jet Stream Could Make Northern California Wetter in Late December

Northern California could be in for more stormy weather. The San Francisco Chronicle reporting that weather models predict the jet stream could strengthen heading into late December, possibly bringing an active storm pattern to California. A jet stream is a fast, narrow current of air flowing from west to east and can control which regions are storm-bound or will be dry.  The bulk of rain in California usually falls from late December into February.  Stay weather aware, so bad weather doesn’t completely put a damper on their holiday plans.
