Marin County Offering to Buyback RVs Parked on Novato Road

Marin County is starting a new buyback program. Homeless people can get cash for their old RV’s parked along Binford Road. Campers began showing up in Novato after a 2017 wildfire. That grew during the pandemic and continued. But now with the number down to 101 people, officials say the next step is permanent housing. They’re offering 175-dollars per linear foot for RV’s that can be used for rent or security deposits.
