Murder Suspect Kills Himself on Highway 101 in Ukiah

A man who took his own life during a traffic stop in Ukiah has been identified as a suspect in a homicide in Pacifica. Forty-six-year-old Jason Gillenwater shot himself on Highway 101 on Thursday afternoon. He was wanted on suspicion of stabbing a man and woman inside a home on Thursday morning. The male victim died. Gillenwater took his own life about six hours after the stabbings happened. Police did not fire any shots at the man.
