California State Assemblyman Vince Fong has won a legal battle to run for Congress. A Sacramento Superior Court judge ruled Thursday Fong will be able to enter the race to fill former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s seat. He will be reinstated on the ballot for the 20th Congressional District. The California Secretary of State’s Office challenged Fong’s candidacy because he had already filed for re-election to the state Assembly. However, the judge ruled in his favor.
