A man is being treated in a burn unit after a fire that destroyed his house just south of Santa Rosa. The man, believed to be in his 60s, was injured early Sunday morning. Authorities say he was seen trying to put the fire out with a garden hose. The man suffered burns to his face and hands and may have life-threatening injuries. The cause of the fire, which took more than an hour to fully extinguish, is not clear.
