A tax measure that would support early childcare and children’s healthcare in Sonoma County is heading to the November ballot. A campaign supporting the ballot initiative needed to get 19-thousand-758 valid signatures from registered voters to qualify for the ballot. The Sonoma County Registrar of Voters certified the signatures on Tuesday. After that, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors voted to place the proposal on the November ballot. If the proposal is approved by voters, it would add a quarter-cent to the countywide sales tax.
