A homeless man has been arrested for stabbing another man in the head in Santa Rosa. On Monday morning, a 34-year-old Santa Rosa man sitting on a bench on the 2700 block of Santa Rosa Avenue got into an argument with another man walking by, later identified as 20-year-old Lucas Coleman. Coleman then approached the man holding a machete and struck him in the head. Coleman fled and the victim was taken to a local hospital and treated for his injuries. Police located Coleman Tuesday afternoon walking on Santa Rosa Avenue in the area of East Robles Avenue. He was arrested without incident. The machete believed to be used by Coleman was also located in the area following his arrest.
