Rohnert Park Police are looking for a hit-and-run suspect who struck and killed a dog in front of its owner. On Sunday morning, a dog and its owner were walking along the southbound shoulder of Dowell Avenue, behind Walmart, when the dog was struck by a blue Toyota Tundra. The truck continued south on Wilfred Avenue and might have been briefly seen traveling north to Millbrae Avenue by police. The dog was taken to an animal hospital where it died of its injuries. Police are seeking help finding the Blue Tundra noting that it might have damage to the lower, front part of its body.
