A man and his dog are dead after being hit by a car on the Rohnert Park Expressway. Police say the man and dog were crossing the road in dim lighting and heavy fog on Sunday morning. The driver who hit them stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Officers determined the person was not driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
