Hotel Project Sonoma finally gets approval. After a 13-year planning process, the Sonoma City Council has approved it by a decision of 4-1. This comes with a 50-percent reduction of the housing fees to $1.1-million dollars and provides the option to build housing off-site. Hotel Project Sonoma includes a 86-thousand square foot hotel, restaurant, spa and underground parking lot, in addition to eight residential housing units. The applicant is Darius Anderson of Kenwood Investments.
