Man Who Died with Dog After Getting by Vehicle in Rohnert Park Identified

Authorities identified the man who was struck by a car and killed Sunday morning in Rohnert Park. Sixty-one-year-old Andrew Kenneth Lujan was hit by a Lexus sedan as he and his dog walked across the eastbound lanes of Rohnert Park Expressway near the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit station at about 7 a.m. The dog was found unresponsive and Lujan was in cardiac arrest when the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety and medical personnel arrived on scene. Officials performed CPR and other life-saving measures but Lujan was pronounced dead.
