First Lady Jill Biden visited Sonoma County on Thursday, attending a private fundraising event supporting her husband’s reelection campaign. About 100 donors attended the event at a vineyard estate in the Dry Creek Valley. The fundraiser was hosted by Puma Spring Vineyards owners and Democratic party donors Barbara Grasseschi and Tony Crabb. Tickets ranged between a thousand and 25-thousand-dollars. During her speech, the first lady said the upcoming presidential election is about “the survival of America’s democracy” and is “a battle for the soul of this nation.”
