A traffic stop in Santa Rosa leads to the recovery of three handguns. On Wednesday evening, officers pulled over a car near the intersection of Santa Rosa Avenue and Hearn Avenue for an expired vehicle registration. The driver was 44-year-old Isaiah Cook, who had outstanding warrants for his arrest, was driving on a suspended Driver’s License, and was in possession of narcotic paraphernalia. Cook and his passenger, 39-year-old Lydia Jones, were removed from the car and the officer searched it. They found two handguns and more drug paraphernalia. Cook and Jones’s residence was later searched where police found another loaded handgun in Cook’s bedroom. The two were arrested on several weapons charges.
